Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of Shatrugan Sinha, who made a standing start with Salman Khan Dabangg was signed to play the son of one of two women in Race 2 with Deepika Padukone.
Race 2 is produced by Ramesh Tauran Consulting and directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham.
The film will go on floors by mid next year. Sonakshi because it is the second film he signed after his debut after Akshay Kumar Joker.
