Akshay Kumar breaks foreign comedy film Break Away

Strong Akshay Kumar as the hero of action was established long ago and has proved its value is a comedy, and has received accolades, too.

Now the actor is ready to cross the Atlantic and part of the movie Breakaway is based on problems that South Asian immigrants face when moving to new places, like Canada. The theme of the movie is bad enough, but the actress says it's a film comedy about a foreign culture.

The story revolves around a family of Sikh immigrants, and how they are trying to cope with cultural conflicts and to adapt to new life and a hockey game.

Sikhs and Punjabis are very fond of ice hockey, so if you change this family Sikhs in Canada have the opportunity to play ice hockey and field hockey. Break Away is directed by Robert Lieberman, and Virmani has Vinay in the lead.

It also happens to be a screenwriter and film. He had been playing ice hockey and knows the struggles and conflicts that go together.
