Violet Kowal, the woman who claims she was Mel Gibson's piece on the side while he was dating Oksana Grigorieva, has nothing but positive things to say.
That's good at least.
Mel's alleged mistress, to whom he was allegedly putting it while still together with Oksana, swears Mel is not only a nice guy, but a very tolerant one.
"Violent, racist, anti-Semitic? Are you serious? When I was around Mel, he never once made any racist or derogatory comments about anyone," she says.
"The people who are close to him knows better than anyone ... he was very kind to me, my friends and family whom are all from different walks of life."
Regarding the Mel Gibson tapes, Violet is adamant that "[Mel] will recover from this incident and prove that this does not reflect on who he really is."
Mel's affair with Violet Kowal is said to have played a role in his breakup with Oksana, though it seems like things were deteriorating between them as is.
Just a little bit, anyway.
Earlier this week, Mel gave an interview to Deadline Hollywood, breaking his silence for the first time, and explaining the infamous tapes as "one terribly awful moment in time, said to one person in the span of one day."
Mel says that he doesn't blame people for thinking less of him, but it "doesn't represent what I truly believe or how I've treated people my entire life."
