Finally, some good news has come Christina Aguilera's way. Her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, has escaped DUI charges.
According to TMZ, Rutler was not above the legal driving limit when he was pulled over and arrested in the early hours of March 1. Rutler was charged with a DUI while Aguilera, a passenger in the car, was briefly taken into custody for public drunkenness.
It has been determined that Rutler's blood alcohol content was .06 at the time of his arrest -- below California's legal limit of .08.
The LA County District Attorney has officially dropped the charges against Rutler, citing insufficient evidence. No charges were filed against Aguilera after her arrest.
This bit of good news bodes well for the singer, who starts her new gig as a vocal coach on the new singing competition show 'The Voice' this week on NBC.

Eddie Cibrian's Ex-Wife Avoids Jail in DUI Case
Brandi Glanville, Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife and mother of his two kids, avoided jail time in her DUI case by pleading no contest in a Beverly Hills court on Friday, RadarOnline.com reported. Glanville pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
The former model was sentenced to 36 months probation and has to pay a $390 fine and complete a three-month alcohol program. By agreeing to the plea deal, she avoided up to six months in prison.
Glanville was pulled over by police in Beverly Hills last October and after alcohol was smelled, she was arrested for DUI.
"She was driving on Sunset and was stopped by police," a police spokesperson told RadarOnline at the time. "She failed her sobriety test and was arrested."
Cibrian filed for divorce from Glanville in 2009 when it was discovered he and country singer LeAnn Rimes were having an affair. The couple had been married eight years.
