Newlywed Royals Exit in Aston Martin Style [Photo]

And Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lived happily ever after...

Prince William got behind the wheel of his father's vintage Aston Martin Volante sports car as he left Buckingham Palace with new bride Catherine Middleton. Prince Charles' navy blue convertible was decorated with balloons and a 'Ju5t Wed' license plate.

The newlyweds headed to Clarence House in the bunting-covered car following the ceremony and a horse-drawn carriage ride through London.

Check out some of the highlights from today's wedding festivities and get a closer look at the couple's spiffy ride here.

Chris Martin Hates Gwyneth Paltrow's Pretentious Dinner Parties

I don't think this marriage is going to last. Not because he didn't want to talk at her party, because he has a wandering eye!

No, Cathy, he doesn't. You wish, but he doesn't. I've seen him with her and he is all eyes for her. He doesn't hate her dinner parties, he is very, very shy. Many artists are. The writer is reading too much into his being cranky. Do you know where he flew in from? What his day was like? They are going to last as long as they choose. He's not looking elsewhere. They're good.

...maybe this guy is more down-to-earth than I would have thought...maybe not into hobnobbing w/the celeb elite...perhaps he just wanted to don his jeans and t-shirt and drink a few beers in front of the tv...

However it would have been nicer of him to be supportive of his wife's projects. There were times I didn't want to go to yet another "rubber chicken dinner" and talk to people I couldn't have cared less about. I went to support my husband and he's done the same for me.It's the same reason parents go to those awful grade school plays their kids are in.The plays may be a mess but you do it to support your kids. It sounds like Mr. Important Rockstar has a lot to learn about being a husband.

I agree, he should have gone down to the pub, while this pompous crowd ate canapes and cooed over her book, he is a regular dude not a toff.(Brit slang) These US chicks thinks its cool to marry Brits but their Hollywood ego's do not get pampered like they do here.

oh please most of the people Gwyneth hangs with aren't luminaries of the film industry by a long shot though she does know some from people her mom has worked with. Joanne Woodward for example Gwyneth has known for 22 years and infact Gwyn shares a birthday with Joanne's midle daughter Melissa. Chris was just being condoscending in this interview thats all.

He wears all the self righteous stripes on his arm so that he can act like he's so much more in tune with the world's problems than anyone else, but he hates the attention of a celebrity dinner party. Poor baby.

I can't blame Chris. Gwyneth can be a load. She strives just a wee bit too hard.
Rule of thumb: We can't stop her. We can only hope to contain her.

Chris martin is a talentless cry baby punk anyway, coldplay sucks..they are a sorry copy of a real band "U2". Gwyneth is really cool, always liked her. thought she could've done better anyway! Continued success to you Gwyneth with or without that nothing of a husband, hopefully soon without...

My understanding is that Chris is a vegetarian why would he want to eat duck ragout? Cry me a river. Who is the bigger baby? The rock star who hates media/or the snobby rich girl who seems to always get her way. A

Ricky Martin Among Top Winners at 2011 GLAAD Media Awards

Ricky Martin's interview with Oprah last year -- during which he talked about coming out of the closet to set an example for his twin sons about the importance of telling the truth -- helped earn him two big honors at the 22nd annual GLAAD Media Awards.

The prizes were presented in 25 categories by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation on Saturday, during a ceremony in New York City hosted by Bravo's Andy Cohen.

Martin won the Vito Russo Award, named for the late GLAAD co-founder, and bestowed on high-profile members of the LGBT community for contributions in combating homophobia. The singer, 39, was also cited for Outstanding Talk Show Episode for his appearance on Oprah's daytime series.

"Ricky coming out was a game changer for many gay and transgender Latino children, who for too long, did not have many out gay people to look up to," GLAAD president Jarrett Barrios said.

Russell Simmons won the Excellence in Media Award; among his contributions to LGBT rights, the hip-hop mogul wrote an open letter to the U.S. Senate urging the repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,' and implored New York's governor to keep supporting marriage equality.
TV shows that won accolades included '30 Rock' (praised for 'Outstanding Episode' in a series without a regular LGBT character), 'True Blood' (named 'Outstanding Drama Series') and 'Anderson Cooper 360' (winner of 'Outstanding TV Journalist-Newsmagazine,' for its series 'Gay Teen Suicides).

There are 32 categories in all, and the remainder of the prizes will be awarded in ceremonies later this spring in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

For her guest role on 'Glee,' and her outspoken support of Sean Hayes (whose ability to succeed in a heterosexual role was doubted by a Newsweek columnist in 2010), Kristin Chenoweth will receive the Vanguard Award in May. The prize is for media stars who demonstrate tolerance and increase understanding of the gay community; past winners include Whoopi Goldberg, Drew Barrymore, Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Antonio Banderas, Eric McCormack, Elizabeth Taylor, Liza Minnelli and Kathy Griffin.
