Michael Lohan's Weird Ultimatum to Lindsay

4/25/2010 8:51 AM PDT by TMZ Staff   Michael Lohan tells TMZ tomorrow is D-day for Lindsay Lohan -- either meet with him or he's going to court.  But the meeting now has a curious string attached.

Michael says he's been communicating with Lindsay since he went on TMZ Live last Thursday -- telling her he will not take legal action to protect Ali from Lindsay nor will he go to court for a Britney-like conservatorship IF she sits down with him face-to-face and hashes things out.

Here's the catch.  On TMZ Live, Michael said he wanted to sit with Lindsay and Ali -- just the three of them ... no one else.  Now he's telling us he wants to sit with Lindsay and his lawyer.  BUZZKILL.

Last Michael told us, he was hiring attorney Lisa Bloom -- a very good, very smart lawyer, and daughter of Gloria Allred.  Lisa also just happens to work for an entertainment TV show.

So why suddenly throw a high-profile lawyer in the middle of a father/daughter heart-to-heart?  And where's Ali Lohan in all of this?

Will Lindsay meet with Michael?  Will Michael go to the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services to get Ali out of Lindsay's clutches?  Will Michael try and become the 2010 version of Jamie Spears by becoming conservator/father of the year?  Will Michael leave town?  Will Michael go to Hyde tonight?

Stay tuned ...

Michael Vartan Is a Married Man

Michael Vartan, 42, exchanged vows on Saturday with his girlfriend of almost two years, Lauren Skaar, at a Newport Beach resort in Southern California.

The former 'Alias' star, now in the cast of TNT's 'Hawthorne' with Jada Pinkett Smith, first met his bride at a Whole Foods grocery store in Los Angeles, according to People.com. Vartan's 'Alias' co-star, Victor Garber, was a groomsmen in the wedding party.

"Our plans for the future are to live a happy, simple life, have kids, lots of dogs and go with the flow," Vartan said of his wedding. "I married my best friend."

"My family was thrilled," confirms Vartan, who dated his 'Alias' co-star Jennifer Garner back in 2003 (they broke up in 2004). "They love Lauren and could not be happier. Now all my mother talks about is grandchildren."

Skaar walked down the aisle in Vera Wang. She recalls that she and her TV star spouse never rushed into dating; instead, a courtship evolved slowly: "We met at a grocery store in L.A.," she says. "Michael approached me, after some well calculated 'stalking,' as I like to call it. We didn't date right away. I wouldn't give him my number but did take his e-mail address, and we didn't see each other until a few months after our first meeting...almost two years ago."

A honeymoon is being postponed for now, because Vartan is working on 'Hawthorne' this week. "Bad luck with the timing....but at least we have three months to plan something very romantic," he says.

Michael Bublé's Home Robbed During Wedding

As Canadian crooner Michael Buble was tying the knot with Argentinean actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, burglars were invading their home, TMZ reported.

The intruders allegedly disarmed the couple's security system and covered any cameras they came across. The newlyweds were at a hotel in Maximo Paz getting ready for the wedding, and no one was hurt, according to reports.

There is still no news about what the thieves stole or how much damage was caused to the Buble-Lopilato home.

Despite the incident, the couple celebrated with more than 300 guests that day and continued the festivities through the weekend. And Lopilato didn't want anything to mess with her special day. "I will not let this ruin the happiest day of my life," she told the local media.

Buble's rep told PopEater that for the ceremony, the bride wore a multi-layered gown designed by Argentinean designer Sylvie Burstin and later at the reception, changed into a Marchesa gown. The groom wore a suit by DSquared.

The married couple's first dance was to Dean Martin's 'Everybody Loves Somebody.' Later, famous Argentinean singer Ricardo Montaner serenaded the couple, and the groom himself sang a song he wrote especially for the bride: 'Haven't Met You Yet.'

George Michael Records Love Song for Prince William and Kate Middleton

George Michael is in the mood for love, and on Friday's 'Piers Morgan Tonight,' he debuted a romantic new single recorded in honor of Prince William's upcoming wedding to Kate Middleton.

The ballad is a cover of a 1972 Stevie Wonder track, 'You and I.' It's available via GeorgeMichael.com, where the British singer asks fans to download the song free and make a charitable contribution to the Royal Wedding Charity Fund.

"I'm incredibly happy for William, incredibly happy for his partner, and I'm absolutely sure that Diana would have loved the whole thing," Michael said. "I really hope she would have loved this track."

The pop star, 47, wasn't always so eager to sing for the royal family, as E! points out.

One would need a strong sense of humor to rebound after the kind of year Michael just weathered: He was released from jail in October, after serving time for crashing his car while on drugs last summer. He'd been found slumped over the wheel of his Range Rover, and admitted being under the influence. In addition to an eight-week prison sentence (he was released early), the onetime Wham! star was slapped with a fine and five-year ban from getting behing the wheel.

'They Shoot Horses, Don't They?' Actor Michael Sarrazin Dies at 70

Michael Sarrazin, a charismatic actor who starred opposite the likes of Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand and Paul Newman in a flurry of highly regarded films in the 1960s and 1970s, died on Sunday in his native Canada after a brief battle with cancer, his spokesman confirmed. He was 70.

The Quebec-born actor shot to fame in 1969's 'They Shoot Horses, Don't They?' playing an aimless actor wannabe alongside Fonda in a role that lit up the screen, but carried few lines.

"You could have paid me a dollar a week to work on that," he told The Toronto Star in 1994. "It hits you bolt upright; I still get really intense when I watch it."
He followed that up two years later in the Newman hit 'Sometimes a Great Notion' and a string of successful films, including 'Harry in Your Pocket' and Streisand's 'For Pete's Sake.'

His last high profile role came in 1976's 'The Gumball Rally.'

His career may have taken a whole different path if he'd been allowed to take the role of Joe Buck in the iconic 'Midnight Cowboy' in 1968. Universal vetoed the casting and went with Jon Voight instead.

As the 1980s rolled around, his roles became more minor and he transitioned to a mix of film and television, including 'Murder, She Wrote' and 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents.'

Sarrazin is survived by two daughters, a brother and a sister, all from Montreal.

Lawyer in Michael Jackson Trial Says Singer Committed Suicide Over Finances

The lawyer for Dr. Conrad Murray, the man accused of administering the drugs that killed Michael Jackson, is claiming that his client is an innocent man.

The AP reports that Murray's lawyer, Edward Chernoff, is arguing that it was Jackson himself and not Murray that ended the King of Pop's life.

In a pre-trial hearing, Chernoff put forth the theory that Jackson was so distraught over his declining empire and deep debt that he took his own life, and asked for access to Jackson's financial records to gather proof.
Prosecutors slammed Chernoff, claiming that his allegations were part of a ploy to defame Jackson.

The judge denied Chernoff's request on grounds that it was an unnecessary invasion of Jackson's privacy.

The court is still screening jurors for the upcoming trial.

Inside Michael Bublè's Wedding Weekend Extravaganza

Michael Bublè's new wife Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre wore not one, not two, but three wedding dresses over the course of their wedding extravaganza this past weekend.

After an intimate civil ceremony that took place in Beunos Aires, Argentina last Thursday, the couple had a bigger ceremony and reception in Villa Maria Paz on Saturday for 300 friends and family members, Bublè's rep tells PopEater.

For the ceremony, the bride wore a multi-layered gown designed by Argentinean designer Sylvie Burstin and later at the reception, changed into a Marchesa gown. The groom wore a suit by DSquared.

The married couple's first dance was to Dean Martin's Everybody Loves Somebody. Later, famous Argentinean singer Ricardo Montaner serenaded the couple and the groom himself sang a song he wrote especially for the bride: Haven't Met You Yet.
Bublé and de la Torr got engaged last November. "He designed the setting himself. He's very proud to be engaged to her," a friend tells PEOPLE.

The couple met in November of 2008. "They met at a party the record company threw for him after his show in Buenos Aires. The head of the label wanted to introduce Michael to Argentina's most famous actress. When he met her, he said it was love at first sight," the friend adds.

Michael Lohan Debuts New Girlfriend on Twitter

Looks like Michael Lohan has found a new shoulder to cry on after splitting from girlfriend Kate Major last week.

Lohan posted a few pictures to his Twitter account of his new girlfriend, a woman named Bernadette.

In one of the photos, Lohan, 50, is seen locking lips with the young brunette and the tweet reads, "U r amazing."

Lohan talked to RadarOnline.com about his new girlfriend. "Bernadette is a nurse who I met at the beach in Florida. I'm here with her now, but after I get back to Los Angeles, she's coming up to New York with me."

He added, "We've been together day and night, every day."
Last week, Lohan was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after his ex-girlfriend Kate Major filed a report with the sheriff's department claiming the couple got into an argument that turned physical.

As a result, the Los Angeles district attorney filed a misdemeanor charge of "inflicting injury on a Cohabitant" against him.

Radar reports that Lohan even took a dig at Major when he spoke to them about his new girlfriend. "Bernadette is the total opposite of Kate: She is smart, doesn't drink or smoke and is in great shape. Finally a down to earth person who hates tabloids!"

Earlier this week, Lohan's ex-wife, Dina Lohan, revealed to PopEater's own Rob Shuter that Lindsay Lohan was planning to drop the Lohan from her name and just go by Lindsay. She also said, "Me and
