Pop superstar Justin Bieber is breaking up -- no, not with girlfriend Selena Gomez -- with Twitter. Yesterday, Bieber took to his Twitter page to announce that he is staging a temporary trial separation with Twitter.

The performer wants to stay focused on his craft. "I'm just excited at this pt to get on stage and perform. gonna take a little break from twitter and enjoy this time with my family until then," he tweeted. Bieber has since posted a few more residual tweets. Guess breaking up is easier said than done.

In fairness, the Biebs might be genuinely ticked off. On his recent trip to Israel the 'Baby' singer's hopes of meeting with the Holy Land's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were dashed. He also recently voiced his frustration over the paparazzi's lack of respect for his privacy during his spiritual journey. Bieber Fever knows no bounds.

Justin Bieber Accidentally Sets His Mom's Hair on Fire During Show

Justin Bieber always promises an action-packed show for his fans--but at his concert this past Saturday night in Berlin, things got really crazy!

At the end of his show, the pop star brought his mother, Pattie Mallette, up on stage and surprised her with a birthday cake for her 35th birthday. But as she leaned in to blow out the candles, her hair caught on fire, UsMagazine.com reports.

Is Justin Timberlake Cozying Up to Olivia Wilde?

Newly single Justin Timberlake looks like he's doing just fine after his split from Jessica Biel. The 'Bad Teacher' actor was spotted out with his 'Now' co-star Olivia Wilde over the weekend.

According to PEOPLE, Timberlake, 30, and Wilde, 27, arrived together at The Roxybury nightclub Saturday night, both wearing white T-shirts and jeans.

The pair drank vodka and looked cozy together as they sat in the VIP section of the club. The pair moved to the patio before leaving at 3AM.

Timberlake split from Biel, after four years of dating, just a few weeks ago. "He hasn't been happy with Jessica for close to two years," a friend of Timberlake's told UsMagazine.com. "You'd be surprised at how soon the love was lost on this one. Justin said he was miserable."
Wilde is also a recent addition to the singles club. She announced her separation from her husband of eight years, Italian Prince Tao Ruspoli, last month. She was spotted out with another Hollywood heartthrob -- Ryan Gosling -- in March.

Timberlake and Wilde co-star in 'Now,' an upcoming sci-fi flick where time is used as currency. The film is set for an October release.

Bleeber doesn't restrict himself to the older ladies, stating that he's, "into women in general."

I think if you have to say it so explicitly, it probably isn't so. It really looks like a smokescreen. Nice try by Bleeber's publicists, but I don't buy it.

Okay....which one of the "Beiber Handlers" forgot to tell him "Never Say anything against Mom"? He is not allowed to do that until he reaches "Has Been Status" and then, and only then, he can write a tell-all-book blaming his mom for his downfall on childhood nutritional intake thereby intiating a timed delay catalyst effecting creativity coupled with a humbled demeanor.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez hit the red carpet together at Vanity Fair's Oscar Party Sunday night looking super stylish in color-coordinated outfits, putting to rest any question of the pair's real relationship status.

The duo was decked out in Dolce & Gabbana for the star-studded event, according to PopCrunch. Gomez, 18, wore a crimson D&G gown while Bieber, 16, wore a matching red pocket square with his swanky black suit.

The annual party, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel, marks the first official appearance by the teenage couple, who have been spotted on low-key dates by paparazzi.

The event also marked the red carpet debut of something else: Bieber's new haircut. The singer, who showed off his shorter 'do last week on Twitter and on 'Ellen,' looked so fresh and clean as he posed for photos with Gomez.
While neither star received a golden statue this year, the Academy Awards might not be too far off in Bieber's future. Cameron Diaz: It Was 'Great' Working With Ex Justin Timberlake

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake's off-screen chemistry may have fizzled some time ago, but that didn't stop them from reuniting on the big screen for 'Bad Teacher.'

Diaz told PEOPLE it "really wasn't a big deal" that the pair star together in the film, adding that they "had a great time" together.

Diaz dished that Timberlake brought his A-game when it came to delivering comedy and that hiring him for the role was an easy decision.

"He's a genius comedian, everybody knows," she said. "'Saturday Night Live' and all the stuff that he's done over the years, he's clearly talented. We went for the best person for the job, and it just so happened that it was him. And he delivers."
Diaz also revealed it was fun having Timberlake around on set.

"Justin and I have always had a good laugh together, and to make a movie where we get to have a laugh together," Diaz said. "There really was no one else who was more perfect for this part. That's why he got the part."

Timberlake and Diaz split in 2007 after four years of dating, but don't expect the pair to reunite romantically any time soon. Though Timberlake recently broke off his relationship with Jessica Biel, Diaz's relationship with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez is going strong.
