Will Arnett Will Not Be The New Boss

There’s news today that Will Arnett has joined the cast of Lorne Michaels co-produced with Christina Applegate and Maya Rudolph.

That, most that most certainly ofmeans that Arnedo not the new chief of "The Office" although Ricky Gervais, although at first I said the night of the Golden Globes I wanted.

And if the mystery of who will succeed Steve Carell deepens. With Arnett delisted, it seems increasingly possible that Gervais himself first. (Will Ferrell, only four episodes, refers to the movies.) Gervais re-appears in the final episode of "The Office" after making his debut on Jan 27 new as a sales as a guy looking for a job.

Gervais said the episode on January 27 to give an important clue as to who will run Dunder Mifflin. Gervais has a animated progarm conduted by with HBO, "The Ricky Gervais Show", but certainly no obstacle to joining "The Office."

And as I reported recently, Gervais' production partner, Stephen Merchant, who helped develop "The Office" in Britain, recently visited the U.S. together. We will keep an eye on this issue, because with Arnett signed on to something else, all bets are off now.

PS Last week's episode of "The Office", called "garage sale", was Emmy named acting Emmy worthy for acting, wrote and directed. A perfect episode. Hire Michael and Holly were simply sublime. Carell deserves the best actor, and I hope that Amy Ryan is nominated for Best Actress. Can not wait for the episode tonight!
