Jude Law Stands Up For Human Rights In Belarus

Jude Law Stands Up For Human Rights In Belarus

Standing up for what he believes in, Jude Law protested in the streets of London, England earlier today (March 28) for those who are currently detained in Belarus.

The 38-year-old English actor showed his support for effort to defend human rights after Belarus detained international journalists who are charged with insulting the nation’s president.

Jude said this to the press, "We have the opportunity in this country to protest, to be heard and to use our freedom of speech. It's our responsibility, therefore, that we speak for those who are less fortunate, especially as fellow Europeans."

Law was joined in his efforts by fellow actor Kevin Spacey, along with more than 100 others, as the group called for an end of dictatorship in that country.
